A lot of our Thriller was inspired by Mark Harron's 2002 American psychological horror black comedy "American Psycho". Based on Bret Easton Ellis's novel, it starts Christian Bale, Reese Witherspoon, Josh Lucas, Chloe Sevigny, Samantha Mathis, William Dafoe, Jared Leto and Justin Theroux. Revolving around the life of Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) a wealthy investment banker living in Manhattan in the late 1980's. His life revolves around dining at trendy restaurants while keeping up appearances for his fiancee, Evelyn, and for his circle of equally wealthy and shallow associates, most of whom he dislikes, However, he also leads a secret life as a serial killer.
